Two illegal African immigrants in Belgium, Tori (11 years) and Lokita ( 16 years) pose as brother and sister to obtain legal papers for Lokita. They does shady drug work for chef Betim, where he also uses her sexually. They use the money for paying off the agents who smuggled them there and her mother to support her siblings. Tori helps her in the preparation of interviews she has to attend for obtaining her legal papers. Tori has a visa due to his "witch child" status but Lokita is denied papers failing to convince that she is his sister and it is ordered to be proven with a DNA test,which is sure to fail. In order to obtain fake papers she agrees to work for Betim for 3 months tending Cannibis plants in a hidden shelter. Lokita locked up alone in the shelter with daily supplies finds it miserable from being separated from Tori as her mobile sim is confiscated, so she can't even talk to him. Desperate Tori , manages to finds the place and sneak into the shelter hiding in Betim's car. They manages to steal grass out of the place and sell it to Betim's customers to make some money to send to her mother. But on the second visit he is caught by Betim but they manage to escape by hitting him unconscious and locking the place behind them. On the run, the wounded Lokita is spotted and shot dead by Betim's aid Lukas, but she doesn't give away Tori. Tori hidden in a bush manages to get away. The film ends with Lokita's funeral where Tori delivers the eulogy saying she would be living in Belgium now, working as a assistant as it was her dream, if she had been provided the legal papers.
