1880s London. One fateful evening, wealthy English nobleman Charles de Beaumont stumbles upon what he believes is a 16-year-old boy walking down an empty country road. With dusk fast approaching, he offers the young lad food and shelter and decides to bring him up. The days turn into weeks, and the two form a solid bond. And then, the mysterious visitor gets into trouble, accidentally revealing an audacious deception. Intrigued by the boy's secret, Charles must keep up the charade.
